In light of the difficult situation we are all facing due to Covid-19, our priority at Amadeus is to ensure the health and well-being of our employees, as well as to continue supporting our partners. Amadeus is working closely with our partners across all areas of the travel industry in order to help them navigate this complicated situation as best as possible.

Here are some more examples of the measures that have been adopted by Amadeus India to support our subscribers during this critical situation:

  • For Travel Agencies to easily handle passenger servicing for any booking that has been cancelled due to these exceptional circumstances, Amadeus will extend the PNR retention for any Amadeus PNR created by an Amadeus travel agent and containing cancelled flights, from any airline, originally scheduled from April 22nd until June 30th 2020, click here for details.
  • The Helpdesk team has been equipped to work from home as part of our business continuity plan, extending continued support and managing over 800+ contacts on daily basis.
  • Helpdesk is also keeping subscribers updated on any new airline policy or functionality especially on refunds via Newsflash.
  • Technical teams across the country has been working to assist in setting up access from alternative workplaces.
  • Regular engagements are being done with Airlines to get timely information on their schedule updates, policies, etc. during the lock down.   • Amadeus India has taken this time to engage with its partners to upskill their resource pool by organising various training sessions on Ticketing, Reissues, Refunds, EMD’s, Hotels, Automation solutions, Soft Skill, etc.
  • Instead of face-to-face trainings Amadeus India is conducting virtual classrooms sessions and is also expanding the extensive catalogue of e-learning resources.
